God has deposited a small measure of His Spirit into each member of His body. The term measure indicates that by ourselves, we are incomplete. Yet whenever God’s people speak anointed truth to our brothers and sisters, we complement (fill) those areas that still lack. As we each do our part, “we all attain to the unity of the faith, … to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ” (Eph. 4:13).
