How many times have we heard God’s voice prompting us to make a change, and we’ve said, “Here's what God is speaking to me, but OBVIOUSLY _____________, SO THEREFORE I can’t”? That blank can be filled with anything, but it's always an obstacle that we're convinced legitimizes our postponement to God’s leading. In times of upheaval, we see that the things in which we’ve placed our trust and which have been those “obvious” roadblocks to obeying God are just an illusion. We must completely lose our faith in the systems and obvious excuses of man and turn our faith in obedience to God.
