There is a task, a purpose for each of to fulfill that requires dedication and effort. God has set boundary markers as reference points to direct us on the path towards our goal. As we reach for what’s ahead, we’ll feel sense of fulfillment; conversely, to grasp for status or worldly acknowledgment will result in inner turmoil and frustration. What is it that we are stubbornly grasping for—a position, money, our own ideas and plans? Can we trust enough to surrender these?
