James writes, "Resist the devil and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Satan is searching for a soul to inhabit and will always seek a comeback if he has been previously defeated. In the story Jesus told, it was the house, clean and vacant, that the demons came and filled. Is our house empty, or is it filled with Christ's power so when satan comes looking we can say, "Devil, there is no room for you here!"?
