As children of Adam we share in his curse and consequently are bound by the fear of death. Our natural disposition condemns us to go through eternity separated from God. Yet through Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary, we have the opportunity to shed this Adamic nature by dying in repentance and taking on the identity of Jesus. This frees us from the curse of sin and grants us access to eternal life, “hidden in Christ.”
