God's version of encouragement is oftentimes different than ours, for Jesus and Paul both insist that we will go through MANY trials and tribulations. This is not encouraging news if we believe life should be without difficulty. Do we view trials or even God's dealings as hardship, or do we recognize the opportunity to change--knowing that God disciplines every son He accepts?
