Every person has a void within, a “God-shaped hole” that needs fulfillment. But how will it be filled? If we could “take” our dose of the Holy Spirit in a shot glass, a needle or a novel, we’d do it every day. But God desires to have a relationship with us; He doesn’t want to be our drug. Nor do we meet our need a one-time experience, but to enter a new realm—the dominion of God’s Spirit.
