We are faced with the stark realities of knowing or missing the "times and seasons which the Father has fixed in His own authority." When we find ourselves, like Daniel, with a narrow window to find the will and word of God or lose everything, suddenly all leeway is gone and procrastination proves deadly. The fool assumes he has open-ended time, and time to spare. But if we would "be wise," we must "redeem the times" and "make the most of every opportunity, for the days are evil."
